Premium First Flush is an early harvest first flush tea from Rohini Tea Estate and is harvested from tea bushes at altitudes of 1500-3500 feet during March and April. The high elevation during the winter months causes the tea plant to develop unique flavors and aromas, which is typical of authentic Darjeeling Loose Leaf Teas. This tea is minimally oxidized during rolling.
The tea has 100% fine, greenish leaves with few tips and brews into a yellow-colored liquor with full transparency. The flavor of the tea remains for multiple infusions. It is famous for its lively ‘bite’ and abundant fresh taste with a well-defined and clean delicate crispness. It has a clean finish with a mellow aftertaste.
