This Classic Second Flush is made from the finest mixed clones from the highest elevated sections of Gopaldhara Tea Estate.
The garden workers carefully pluck the leaves by hand, ensuring only the best shoots with prominent buds are picked. The plucking is of such fine quality that the tea can only be hand-sorted, and the machines used to make the tea are very few in number. In addition, this tea is sufficiently oxidized to ensure that all the exquisite flavors are prominently present.
The tea has a woody character with a rare muscatel flavor and a special tinge of sweetness, making this second flush so distinctive. It has brownish leaves with random tips that brew into dark orange liquor. The cup is medium-bodied with musky notes and a fresh aroma to fall in love with. The tea is very smooth with no harsh tones.

While navigating along the online shop of Gopaldhara you may be wondering whether it’s worthy to order this ordinary classic second flush tea. Then let me tell you ‘it won’t disappoint you’. Though it’s ordinary but still carries the same freshness and muscatel flavour. As it’s less expensive those who want to explore the domain of Darjeeling tea should try this one as not only it’s a good quality tea but also produced by Gopaldhara tea estate, one of the highly famed tea garden from the region in which you can definitely trust. Last year I ordered this for my home in Siliguri and this year I got it for myself here in Belgium. It was properly packed and you could smell the flowery aroma when you first open it. For daily use (when you may not have ample time to sit, relax and enjoy a cup of delicate tea) you could try this one. Definitely recommended!
