This is an extraordinarily unique and flavourful muscateл черный чай фrom Gopaldhara Tea Estate. The dry leaves appear brownish with random golden tips that brew into a full-bodied red cup with excellent depth. The tea combines richness, depth, intensity, sweet muscatel flavor with a prominent and rare note of Jamun fruit. The after-taste is long, complex, intense, and tannic. An acid grip in the finish should be more like a zestful tang found only in a rich, full-bodied cup.

If you would like to try fine quality Darjeeling tea, you can trust Gopaldhara. I am actually from Darjeeling but currently live and work in Belgium. Since last year I become an admirer of Darjeeling tea. For the first time I ordered this tea for my colleagues. As it’s a muscatel tea and also from Gopaldhara I had a good expectation and Gopaldhara didn’t disappoint me! I was truly delighted to get positive reception from my colleagues on the tea. It is indeed a uniquely flavoured tea. Tea connoisseurs, tea lovers from around the world and those who want to understand Darjeeling tea and especially the muscatel tea (often called the “Champagne of Tea”) should try this tea from Gopaldhara. Very much refreshing and highly recommended! Also thumbs up for my maternal uncle who lives in Chicago to recommend me Gopaldhara last year. Gopaldhara- an absolutely and uniquely Darjeeling!
